OUR STORY

50+ Years of Craftsmanship, Passion & Classic Truck Heritage

In 1972, while rodeoing in Sonora, California, discovering a 1956 Chevy truck ignited a lifelong passion.

By 1973, we began sourcing rare parts from hidden wrecking yards and selling high-demand originals.

In 1974, our first typed catalog was created, and by 1975 we were exhibiting at Pomona and advertising nationwide.

Through the late '70s and '80s, we produced the earliest reproduction parts for 1955–59 trucks, opened multiple California stores, and traveled coast-to-coast sourcing obsolete GM parts.

We built iconic monster trucks, expanded to a 40,000 sq ft warehouse, and partnered with U.S. factories to manufacture parts from original GM tooling.

By the '90s, over 1,200 parts in our catalog came from exclusive tooling we developed.

After decades of innovation, shows, sweepstakes builds, and national events, Quality Classic Parts was officially founded in 2003—continuing our mission to preserve and restore classic Chevy & GMC trucks with unmatched quality.
