Some more of my 50 years of memories. When I was driving back from Ogden Utah, from the very first annual Chevy GMC trucking national I thought this was so much fun and such a success with almost 700 trucks showing up the first year I thought why not do one in Southern California. Better yet why don’t I work with my good friends, Art and Danny who had Classic Reproductions at the time which later became Danchuk, and make it an all Chevy event, Magic Mountain Chevy Madness. I happen to be driving by Magic Mountain at the time. The rest is history, 1982 was the first Magic Mountain event. This is also how I met my second wife Meridith May. The lady I was working with at Magic Mountain, Terry Jones said I should get KRLA radio the heart and soul of rock ‘n’ roll involved and she knows the perfect person at KRLA and said you’re gonna love her. And that’s even more story there.
