In 1959 Chevrolet introduced the deluxe bed side molding for the fleetside trucks, to try and squeeze a little more sales out of the task force line up that was soon to be replaced by the completely new 1960 Apache. Trucks were still trucks in 1959 and this option was not widely purchased. As the fleetside trucks became a hot resto target these hard to find pieces are like gold.
