Here’s some more 50 years of memories. What you see here is three cover trucks that we built for Promotions. The orange '57 was a giveaway truck we built for Truckin’ Magazine. It was a frame off restoration beautiful truck, and they gave it away through the magazine. The Skoal Bandit panel truck was the truck that started the whole Monster truck business for me I first built that truck for US tobacco company and they liked it so much that we ended up building about five different trucks to Campaign for them in the monster truck world. The panel truck was built in about 1982 and was Campaign in 1983 when they just launched the skull bandit pouch tobacco. It traveled Coast to Coast at all the big car shows and events where we sample tobacco. I also met Earl Campbell at that time, and he made it to a lot of the shows to sign autographs. The 1953 Dr Pepper panel truck was built for Dr Pepper and was used for promotions for tasting all over Los Angeles and southern California in the 80s. These trucks are long gone now but I’d sure like to have them back.
