Sometimes small things can have big consequences. I make my felt channels here in the USA with the correct size, mounting tab and black edges just like original. The ones that are made in Taiwan have a chrome edge beading and the dimensions are wrong in every direction not to mention the clips are under sized, I don’t see how they would stay in the holes other than the pressure of the door glass. Here I am showing you a comparison, the green Mounting Clips are NOS the black one is mine, identical in every way, and the foreign reproduction is the one with chrome beads on both sides. It does not even resemble the original part. Sometimes I wonder what people use for samples most likely they’re just using existing felt channels instead of making them properly.
