A door story worth reading. Several years ago I got fed up with all the people complaining (for a good reason) about the fit and finish of the 1955 to 1959 doors. Some of you may or may not know that I made the very first parts available and reproduction for 55 to 59 trucks in the early 70s. I always prided myself in making sure that they were tested and they worked as well if not better than original. So this starts my door story. I decided to work on new tooling and build a door that would fit as good or better than the original doors. They are by far the best fitting sheet metal on the market. By the way the word “perfect “was used when describing them not my words. They're not the cheapest doors on the market but $1100 for the pair plus shipping.

Ok so I bought a set of 55 to 59 doors from Seth Doulton, took them to a body shop a couple of days later. Shop calls and wants to know where I got these doors. They said they are the best aftermarket doors he has ever seen, so thank you Seth and every one here that gave me the info. I don't think I'll ever buy a used door to repair again lol
